Use Symbain^3 as wireless mouse and keyboard : Remoter

If you were Imaging to use your Symbian^3 device as wireless track pad mouse as well as a wireless keyboard, then Guess what????
YES, its possible to do so as the OVI Store has an application known as "REMOTER"
under "Application" filtered with "Utility".
You can directly search for this application using "Search" control available.

How To Use IT ?
This application can be used as a wireless mouse or keyboard with the help of WiFi service.
This can also be used via Bluetooth but for that you have to install the Remoter's PRO version.
How Does it work ?
This is a server-client type application i.e. first you may install the server application to your computer and then the client to your Symbian^3 device.
The client is available at the ovi store and the server i.e. the exe for the computer can be downloaded for free from << http://apps.foi.hr/remoter/ >>.
How to pair it ?
1. After successfully installing the apps on both mobile and computer, enable WiFi on both the devices.
2. Create an Adhoc connection from the computer(non-secure) and give an appropriate name to it.
3. Go to your Symbian^3 device > Wlan wizard > select "Others (hidden netw.)" > Connect > type the name that was used to create an adhoc "Ad-hoc (Public)" > "Open network".
4. Finally when the connection status is connected open the application on the device and the exe from the computer.
5. On the device - wait for the "searching for server" to complete and the list of "available server" is refreshed with your computer name and ip address and vice-a-versa on computer, click on OK and then yes to accept device for establishing the connection.
6. From within the available server select your computer server and click on connect,
if the track pad gets displayed on the device it means you are now connected successfully.

Note: Sometimes the connection gets stuck so we found out that, if we swap to keyboard mode and return back to the track pad mouse mode connection gets stable again.
