How to take good macro shots?

This is my favorite....... taking a macro shot........... here are some tips :

1. Choose your subject carefully
Unless important your subject should be perfect. Since closeup shots have lot of detail in them,
it would be very disappointing if your photo is spoiled by dust or stain marks on the subject.

2. Choosing a background
You can try two different techniques. First is a plain white or light colored background. I usually prefer the second method. The background should be atleast 3 meter away from the subject. Due to this the background gets blurred giving a very nice effect.

If you are in a room and your camera has a flash, turn the lights off so the background gets darkened.

Beware : If you made a mistake in choosing your background, your subject will be lost in the background.

Happy clicking !!!
