The 12mp camera of n8 takes stunning pictures out of the box. However fine detail is lost due high compression. If you want to increase the image quality further install the hyper x mod for n8. You can install this mod easily on your n8. No need of hacking. You just need to sign the package first before installing.1. The photo quality is increased greatly. Images are highly detailed. Size of image is also incrsased from 2-3 mb to 10-11 mb. This is due to lack of jpeg compression.
2. HD Video recording is changed from 25fps to 30fps.

Update : Instead of getting 100% of full quality you can get 97% of the quality. No visible reduction in quality of shots upto 200% zoom. But the main advantage is reduction in size from 10-11mb to 4-5mb. Video quality is same as the original HyperX mod with 30fps
