Android vs Symbian : Is the fight worth it

Note : If you are a steroid stimulated geek who is hunting for facts to prove Android or Symbian is better than the another, then stop reading this right now. It is not for you.

Just for fun i googled android vs symbian before writing it and got around 7,720,000 results. So many blogs, forums and websites are fighting over it. But is the fight worth it. I should say no. It is as vague as fighting for "Orange vs Banana" or "Rat vs Pigeon"
A lot of you who are reading this might have read posts and discussions in various blogs and forums. The main facts presented there are

1. "Android" is simpler to use.
2. "Android" is faster to work than Symbian. Just tap and go.
3. "Symbian" has a lot of bugs.
Conclusion : "Symbian" is outdated.

Now consider the following facts :

1. "Banana" is simpler to eat.
2. "Bananas" can be eaten faster than "Oranges". Just peel and go.
3. "Oranges" have many seeds.
Conclusion : "Oranges" are outdated.

Not convinced?... Have some more.

"High end Droids have 1Ghz processor and can even be overclocked. Symbian is still running 680Mhz. Android is better"

can be compared to

"Birds can rotate their head to 360 degrees. Humans can only do a 180 degree turn. Birds are better than humans.". Caution : Overclocking can be fatal.

You may prefer eating an orange or a banana. Similarly it depends on your personal choice to use Android or Symbian. Why are we bashing an OS just because we prefer to use another? How can Symbian^3 be outdated when Android releases a new version? You wont call windows 7 outdated just because Linux has a newer version. Both Android and Symbian offer different types of UI. They are not comparable. I feel easy in using Symbian (and eating oranges). You may be happy with Android (and bananas). Both have their own merits and demerits.

And if you are a fanboy who still feels

"Android is better than Symbian as it offers better internet browsing and Symbian is indeed outdated"

then go on and enjoy it. Imagine you have a Ferrari. You wont go telling every Ford owner that your car is better than his.
But you are you telling this because both Android and Symbian have some unique features. Nothing can satisfy lust. . . if its about technology
