Socially, the client for Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and Foursquare, now releasedversion 3.0 Beta for our Nokia N8 and any other Symbian^3 device. Thisapplication has been completely rewritten, with some very interesting developments.
You can use Socially to track recent activity of friends on different social networks. Socially also shows you up-to-date social information about the callers during an incoming call and as alerts on the phone desktop (home) screen, enabling you to have better conversations.
What’s new in this version?
- a completely new and rewritten engine to deliver faster performance
- removing the many UE quirks that have been confusing and frustrating our users
- building optimized user experience separately for v3 and v5 handsets
- improved Social Notifications – 5 mins refresh & customization by social network
No new social features have been added in this version. Also, only Facebook & Twitter are active in this beta release
